The mission of the Union Hill Church is to encourage all
people to accept God's free gift of salvation and to enter
into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; to equip
believers for ministry and service to others through
discipleship and teaching; to promote fellowship among
God's people; and to provide an atmosphere of worship
where there is freedom of the Spirit.
Pastor Phil & Sharon Fulton have served Union Hill Church for over 45 years.
Pastor Phil has formed great relationships with churches throughout this area,
working in many areas of ministry.
Pastor Phil started a monthly Prayer Meeting of Pastors in the county called
(PADA) Pastors Against Drugs and Alcohol. He is also director of the
Reformers Unanimous Addiction Program in Adams County. He also serves
on the Chaplain Advisory Board at the ACRMC and was a part of the team
that instituted the Chaplain Program. As part of this he also serves as a
Volunteer Chaplain at ACRMC.
Pastor Phil was honored to have the Opening Prayer for the
U.S House of Representative on July 20, 2006, by invitation of
Representative Jean Schmidt. He served on the Adams County
Ten Commandments Committee, and was arrested for protesting
the removal of the ten commandment monuments from in front
of the county high schools. He was also called upon to help lead
the prayer rallies against the removal of the Ten Commandment
Monument at the Supreme Court Building in Montgomery, Alabama,
where he was arrested along with many others for taking their stand.
Pastor Phil presently serves as Chairperson for (ACTCC)
Adams County Ten Commandment Committee.
