Colossians 1:10 KJV
That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
After the fall, man and God were separated. Jesus is the bridge that reconnects God and man. Jesus elected to add humanity unto Himself, making Him fully man and fully God. His sacrifice allowed mankind to have fellowship with God in full once again.
The problem is the bridge is a tight rope. We must stand firmly on faith in Jesus - if we waiver to the right or the left, we’ll fall off. The only foundation that can support our relationship with God is faith in Jesus Christ. If we maintain our faith, He will keep us steady as we walk the tight rope we call life.
Many people will laugh and scorn you for walking the tight rope of faith. Scripture forewarned us of this:
Matthew 7:13-14 KJV
[13] Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: [14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Stay on the narrow path, keep your faith in Jesus, and you will inherit the kingdom of Heaven.
