Joshua 2:21 KJV
And she said, According unto your words, so be it. And she sent them away, and they departed: and she bound the scarlet line in the window.
Jesus tells us in Matthew 17:20 it only takes a mustard seed of faith to move mountains. Rahab likely had only that. She had a mustard seed of faith in the God of Israel. So until she was removed from the city, God would not destroy Jericho. He honors true faith.
Rahab was likely terrified only having a scarlet rope to place her hopes in for survival, but she and her household were delivered from destruction. God ALWAYS honors his word!
We too can be delivered from the impending destruction of this world if we anchor our faith in the scarlet blood of Jesus Christ. Because of the price he paid for us on Calvary, we have the hope of rescue before this world is destroyed.
I’m ready to go home in the rapture! Are you?
