He’s Coming Back

He’s coming back on those silver clouds of glory, he’s gonna take me away….

Jesus told us in the book of Matthew that only the Father knows the day and the hour that Jesus is going to come back for us (24:36).

Over the years, people have scoffed at the idea of Jesus’ return. The very fact that they’ve done this has fulfilled scripture, see 2 Peter 3:4.

No matter how long it seems he’s tarried, we must hold on to our faith in his death, burial, and resurrection. Believing in that resurrection means believing he’s coming back. Don’t stop believing, for when you hold to the faith and await his coming with joy, you’ll receive a crown in glory (2 Tim 4:8)!
