John 4:25 KJV
The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.
Sometimes, I marvel at the faith of unbelievers. They have more faith than Christians in their lifestyle, decisions, and sometimes, even their religion.
Sadly, a lot of people know about Jesus. They know there’s a messiah. They know He paid the price. They know they can go to Heaven. And yet, they don’t take the simple step to accept Him as Lord.
Believing Jesus existed, or even that He died for humanity, doesn’t save you. Faith is a personal matter. You must individually accept Jesus and believe His blood paid the way for you to go to Heaven and repent of your sins.
The woman at the well was religious. She knew there would be a messiah, but she hadn’t accepted him into her heart. She hadn’t fully believed on Him.
We can have “head knowledge” of salvation, but until it drops 18 inches into our hearts, we won’t have a ticket into Heaven.
Don’t delay in accepting Jesus; instead, accept Him and proclaim Him to all those around you just as the woman at the well did:
John 4:29 KJV
Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?
