Show You’re Alive

Life has 7 characteristics:

1. Cellular organization
2. Growth and development
3. Energy use
4. Homeostasis
5. Response to environment
6. Ability to adapt
7. Ability to reproduce

The last ability is one God has given us strict instruction on:

Genesis 1:28 KJV
[28] And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

God wants us to have children. He wants us to get to experience the love and joy becoming a parent brings, but he also wants us to create spiritual children:

Matthew 28:19-20 KJV
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

We’re supposed to share our faith and reproduce it in others. It’s not a job exclusively for missionaries to share the gospel. Telling others about Jesus and the price he paid on Calvary is a task for all believers.

Show that you’re alive in Christ and reproduce your faith in others.
