Thy Kingdom Come, My Kingdom Goes - Fall Revival

The Lord’s Prayer is often recited but rarely applied. These scriptures were meant as a model for us to follow when praying and not a paragraph to be rehearsed vainly (Matt 6:7).

When we dive deep and study this prayer, it gets to the root of many problems in the believer’s life: misplaced priorities, lack, unforgiveness, and temptations and trials.

Matthew 6:10 KJV
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Sometimes, it’s hard to pray that verse - to give up our desires and dreams and trade them in for the plans the Lord has for us.

But don’t fear! God’s plan won’t harm you:

Jeremiah 29:11 KJV
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

God’s ways are higher than our ways, and His plan is always greater than what we could ever have envisioned.

So whatever the Lord is asking you to surrender, have faith! He will give you so much more!
