Who or What is First in Your Life?

Once you accept Jesus into your heart, you are saved. Congratulations! You now belong to the family of God and are part of the kingdom of heaven! But what are you doing FOR that kingdom?

Matt. 6:33 tells us to “seek ye FIRST the kingdom of God and His righteousness.”

When we do this, we lay up treasures in heaven. And the Lord told us, where your treasure is, our hearts will be also (Matt 6:20-21).

Half the battle in this Christian walk, is keeping our hearts right with God, or in other words, keeping our priorities straight.

If we don’t prioritize our relationship with the Lord, we’ll start laying up treasure in the wrong place.

Life is not about what we have, it is about who we have. Our families are the only “things” we can take with us to heaven; therefore our work for God and the health of our families should be the top priorities for believers.

What are you prioritizing in your life?
