Light in the Tunnel

John 8:12 KJV
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Darkness is the absence of light. When this world is dark, we shouldn’t despair. The darkness of this world allows our light as Christians to shine all the more brightly.

Cities can’t see the stars at night due to too much light from streetlights and buildings, but out in the country, the stars shine brightly. In this dark world, our light as Christians guides others to Jesus.

The closer we walk to Jesus, the more light we can reflect and the brighter we will shine. Keep your eyes upon the light of the world and share your light with others!

When this world makes you hopeless concerning the future, just remember: There’s light at the end of the tunnel (and it’s not an oncoming train).
