Turn the Page

1 Samuel 30:19 KJV
And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing that they had taken to them: David recovered all.

Every Bible is laid out a little differently, but for Pastor Bud, half of the account in 1 Sam. 30 was on one side of the page and the other half was on the other side.

The negative portion of the story: David joining with the enemy, going out to fight Israel, and losing his family and belonging to the Amalekites were all on one side of the page. Turning the page can be powerful. The whole story can change, and for David it did. When the page is turned, David hears from God, recovers all, and gathers an additional spoil from the enemy!

When all seems lost, reach out to God and turn the page. He can turn what the devil meant for evil and work it for your good. Glory to His Name!
