The Goodness of God
1 Chronicles 17:26 KJV
And now, Lord, thou art God, and hast promised this goodness unto thy servant:
God is good. God is faithful. He came to bring good tidings, bind the broken-hearted, preach liberty to the captives, break the chains of those that are bound, comfort the sorrowful (Isa. 61:1-2).
He is faithful in every situation we face. We must always trust Him, and when we do, we’ll see his power made evident in our lives. Even in our darkest moments, He is always there because He promised He would never leave us nor forsake us (1 Kings 8:57, Hebrews 13:5).
Take heart if you’re in a season of brokenness or sorrow because God is right there beside you.
