Then Shall the End Come…
Matthew 24:6 KJV
And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
If I had to stake my claim on where we are in terms of Bible prophecy, it is right here. The above verse fully epitomizes our daily reality. WW3 is looming, Russia is invading Ukraine, China might invade Taiwan, and Middle Eastern countries are always looking to attack Israel.
War and rumors are everywhere, but the scripture tells us the end is not yet. When we travel a few more verses, we find the key to reaching the end:
Matthew 24:14 KJV
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Only when the gospel is preached in all the world will the end come. If we want to make heaven our home and escape the trials of this world, we need to work to make this happen.
Not all of us are called to be missionaries or preachers or teachers, but we all are called to make disciples (Mark 16:15). As a result, we need to do everything we can to lead those around us to Christ and to support the work of ministries taking the gospel to others we cannot reach.
Brother Paulus is in need of our prayers and our financial support. Everyone can pray, but we should diligently seek the Lord to find ministries we can support with our finances as well. Bro. Paulus and his work in Pakistan is a worthy cause.
