Silent Too Long

Ezekiel 33:6 KJV
But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

We are God’s watchmen. We’ve read his word, and we know what it says. He expects us to share this knowledge with those around us.

Many in the church have become silent for fear of hurting others’ feelings. Not only is this a tragedy for the one’s who fail to hear about God’s love and his message. It’s a tragedy for the Christian not sharing.

The silent Christian is like the watchman on the tower failing to blow the trumpet. All the people who they are afraid to upset with the gospel message, their blood is on the silent Christian’s hands.

Don’t be silent. Share the love of God and the truth of His word. Let your light shine - don’t hide it under a bushel basket (Matt. 5:15).
